[sm=dontgetit.gif] '94cbr f2 problem..... will not start in cooler weather (below 40ish) with choke fully engauged...but if starting fluid is brought into the equation it 'll start right up; will also start no plroblem in warmer weather or after the intial start on a cold morning....runs very strong has "UNI" filter element..V & H slip on pipe and +4 degree ignition advancer on motor...just had new battery, plugs, rectifier, and wire harness installed......was told a Stage 1 jetting kit might solve the problem....but was looking for some advice .

Default RE: cold weather problem

I tried new plugs and new pilot jets, it helped a little. My '92 has been parked since early Sept.

I have a f2 too. The only time I've had a little problem starting was in 20 degree weather and the bike was frozen over. It just takes a bit of time and playing with the throttle. If you decide to re-jet and it helps let us know.
