i just bought my bike less then a week ago and have ridden it every day since. i just checked my local weather and it says snow!!!!! for the next week!!! can you belive that, just my luck. this sucky situation got me to thinking about the cold and the effects it will have on my bike. i dont have a place to store it other than in my drive way. i just bought a really nice bike cover, allweather u know. but is that going to be enough? will the freezeeffect my engine or other things? should i put it in my house as a caution? anyone know?

 

It will be fine. I won't lie my F2 sat outside in snow/rain/sun for months with no cover or anything. Everyday. Never affected it. When I got the F3 I decided to bite the bullet and get a storage unit that happens to be right down the street. 60$ a month but its huge and close.

 

Make sure you have anitfreeze in it not just water... good idea to make sure the gas tank is completely full as well.
