Clutch problem?
Ok, so I know my clutch is slipping and am planning on putting in a new clutch kit here in the next few weeks. Now, when I went to top my bike out today it was weird, it wouldn't go over 135MPH. It's a 92 f2. I could understand that if I was redlining, but even at full throttle the bike wouldn't go past 10K RPM. I was wondering, is that because my clutch is slipping? Or some other reason? The gearing is all original and I have absolutely no problems other than the clutch. Also,\ I'm not sure if there's a limiter or not on the bike, any ways to check? Thank you!
Correct me if I'm wrong somebody...since these are bikes and I know they have different clutches then cars, but when a clutch slips on a car, the revs jump up because there is a lot less load on the motor, same would be true for a bike, no?
In that case it should be quite easy to hit the bike past 10K revs...but maybe I'm completely wrong and bike clutches are different.

You are right with that. I just don't know if the problem i'm having is because my clutch. I'm guessing the limiter? Do the older bikes even have a limiter? From my own research my bike should hit 155 give or take. I have questions because its only hitting 135. On my bike it shopws redline at 13K. My bike wont gop over 10K in 6th gear. No matter how long I press full throttlew it will not go over 10K. Thats my main problem. Is it my clutch?
there is no limiter in a 94 f2 so a 92 f2 im sure doesnt have one i was on my f2 bout half hour ago n was shifting at 12k so if it is the clutch itll be easy to tell open the case and take gander and see if its worn out n needs to be replaced and also for the not rev part if your sitting in ur garage and ur in neutral can u rev it past 10k?
