so i went for a ride today and my engine temp was not quit to the red but a lot closer than normal(normally just a little past mid way) not knowing what was the problem i was the jack *** at the gas station pouring bottles of water on my motor to cool it down. I changed the oil a lil more than a month ago and it hasnt been over heating all week but today it was. I plan on flushing the coolant tom and putting new coolant in. is there a special type of coolant i should use? and is what else could be the problem? (its was right around 85 degrees today) when going around 70 the engine temp was down but im not sure where the thermometer is placed could have been just the mass amounts of air passing by making the gauge look cooler then it actually ways any help is greatly appreciated
