+1 for me
(my predictions tend to be good...)
When I put my clutch together on my bike, I pieced it together from two used clutches... One looked like it had aftermarket springs and plates, while the other one had some heat-blued stock plates, but less wear on the discs, so... I have no idea what it's actually going to work like.

Scuff the steelies' with some light grit sandpaper to give it a fresh surface before you put it together, should help with the discolored surface.
Lay all of your plates down on a countertop and check if any are warped, if even 1 of them is not perfectly flat it will throw your clutch off.
All of the steel plates go in a certain way, if you rub your finger on the edge of both faces you will find that one has a flat edge and one has a barely noticeable rounded edge. They all must go in the same way, the correct way is with the flat edge facing in.
Also, you will notice that one of your fiber plates has alarger I.D. than the rest, this plate goes on the very end (outside)
Also #2, at the very very end of the clutch plates there are 2 small rings called a judder spring and a spring seat, they sit in like this \|. (the judder spring is bevelled, thespring seatis flat, the flat one goes on the end against the clutch center)
