Default Choke cable?

Been workiing on my 94 F2. I tried to order a choke cable for my bike from rocky moutain atv oem parts section. Apparently Honda doesn't make this part anymore. Looking on eBay all I get is parts from europe. New ones appear to not have the rubber coating on them that provides some friction. Is there a source for these in the states?

Easy way to get these old parts is to find part# first.
https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/ho...-switch-cables

Then just search for part# 17950-MV9-000
Google - Honda "17950-MV9-000"

Ebay's usually pretty good source for parts, new & used for older bikes.

Thanks, I've been doing that for years. The ebay link you showed shows that the part is "out of stock". Funny that particular one didn't come up for me. Anyway I do get several from europe, but with shipping is $35-40. I threw the old one out thinking I had one on order but then RMATV dropped that part from the order and changed thier parts schematic to unavailible.

Shoot, sorry I didn't check if it was available.
Here's one with reasonable shipping time and fees.
Amazon Amazon
Not OEM, however I've used clutch & throttle cables from them before and worked just as well.

I ended up buying one from eBay UK. this morning. It's used but appears to be in good shape. It's interesting how the oem cable has rubber on it to provide a friction feel.
