Nobody makes choke cable anymore?
Hey guys,
I finally got the beast running the other night, only to go and start it up one last time after I finished synchronizing the carbs. I pulled the choke and it snapped. Makes sense because I'm sure it's the original and has done the best it could over the 24 years it's been around. My dilemma is that I've been searching on the forum here and online at major retailers like Dennis Kirk for example, and haven't found a choke cable anywhere? Does anyone know where to get these damn things? Or a part number so I can kind of cross reference? Any help would be much appreciated. I feel like it's a MONDAY.. ugh.

I don't really have a pedal bike, haven't had one since I bought a motorcycle quite a few years back...something I should probably get back into. Thanks for the info though, worst case I'll have to make my own I guess...
Anyone got any idea if an F2 or F3 choke cable is the same or close enough?

Try contacting trippmann from this thread: https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f-...ilable-139640/
He is parting out his crashed '89. The choke cable looks to be in good shape from the pics he has up.

I found a used one on Ebay, but no new ones: 90 Honda CBR 600 F Motorcycle Choke Cable | eBay
It looks like it was discontinued, but the OE part number is 17950-MN4-000 if you can find one anywhere.
EDIT: I forgot about trippman he's a good guy, bought a part from him last week.

Thanks guys, I'll probably end up PM'ing him. I just thought I was going crazy since this isn't THAT old of a bike, and has a relatively large following. Very confused that motion pro or someone hasn't stepped up and made a "simple" cable for this awesome machine. I didn't get to flog the bike at all, but it had some cool power until the clutch slipped! (replacing that in the next couple of days)
Thanks again. Glad I'm not insane.
