Well when i had the bike all pulled apart i went ahead and put a new stator and r/r in it as well as having a new battery just to nip any of the issues in the but before i got her dressed. i rode it today for around 50 miles to a leather shop to look for some new gloves. when i came out she is dead, she fired right up when i pushed her and popped the clutch. got her home and battery is almost completely dead. What am i missing?!?

This Is a 1992 600 f2!

 

Bike's subject the battery to a lot of heat/vibration, which is hard on batteries.
If the battery is more than 3-4 years old, probably time for a new one.

Pull it and have it tested under load. Most auto-parts stores will do it for free.

If that's not it, start checking for a weak/loose connection in the harness.

Ok mad ill start checking the connections next I replaced the battery already as well. Wanted to start out fresh and take care of all weak points of the bike. Hope I find a loose ground! Thank you

looks like the oem one just need it to get me thru the season im buying a new bike this winter

 

well i am 99% sure i found the problem. corrosion in the male side of the connector (where the stators three yellow wires plug in to) i cut and hard wired them together and she has ran all day with stop and go riding and hasnt failed to start once. as for my fairings that will be a new thread lol!
