Default chain adjustment question

The F2 is my first bike and it didn't come with a manual. I am just wondering how much slack there should be in the drive chain cause I think mine may be too tight. Anyone know what the manual calls for? Thx

Ern's rule of thumb is 3/4 to an inch of play in center of the bottom run. It's always worked for me, on pretty much every bike I've owned.

Manual says from 5/8" to 1" of play in the middle of the bottom run - I shoot for that 3/4" mark myself.

Adjust the chain with the bike sitting on the sidestand - makes fine adjustments a little easier.
