I think if you had an air box it would run better, have you tried it with the stock air box?

You only remove the airbox if you are using flatslide carbs, otherwise you lose power.

You're not making yourself clear.Constant high revs? Both mine can run to 13.5k whenever I want (redline is 13k).You run an F2 all the way up to 15000 rpm you will not have that motor for long, and the bike will flick you off like a freshly picked booger when it blows.

Put the D&D pipe back on it.It'll run like **** if you don't.

Put the airbox back on it.It'll run like **** if you don't.

If you have a stock motor, use paper air filters.Believe it or not, they make more power with them.High flow filters (K&N,BMC etc) only help if you have extensive motor work done (2 mm overbore, cams, nice clean headwork,polished/knife-edged crank). This stuff will cost you 6 grand to have done,if you can find someone who does that kind of work on older motors like these.Good luck, the only ones that do work like that (and do it well) only work on modern bikes.

Put all that stuff back on the bike and learn to launch it first.
