Hello & help !! ?? Carbs or exhaust problem??
Hi
Ive recently purchased a T plate (99) CBR600F (W) and despite being less mental than my previous gixxer 750 (05 K5), I absolutely love it !!
I've not had a bike with carbs for years & am steadily getting used to it again, however I've noticed a MAJOR flat spot between 4&5k revs.
The bike has no service history but 15k proven miles but has a (pretty poor) after market blue flame EVO exhaust & I wonder if the flat spot could be a result of the can or whether it's more likely a carb issue??
Obviously any other suggestion welcome!!
Thanks in advance, Steve

Welcome aboard Steve!
Congrats on getting your '99 CBR. Glad you are enjoying it. It is a Honda after all! ;-)
Not sure exactly what your bike's issue is. Be sure to post up in your bike-specific sub-forum &/or in General Tech for more specific responses for help.
Hopefully, you'll get it sorted quickly.
Good to have you w/ us.
