Default carbs floding? or not synced right?

Just bought my girl a 92 f2 for $1500 cash. great deal i thought, but after replacing the tires, chain, clutch, lights in the dash, and fairings its startin to get to me.

I was riding the bike into work today and notice no matter what i couldnt get it past 75mph.

if i cracked the throttle in 1st or 2nd it was great power but in any other gear the bike seemed to flood, and even had a little "jerk" where the bike would pull for a sec then kinda lurch forward. this was at 60 mph and it was barely noticeable.

but the bike will not go any faster than that.

one of the jets had to be clogged. went out tonight with clean carbs, put back the stock airbox "snorkels" bike sounds a lot different but runs to much damn better its amazing. put the tire towards the sky in 1 and 2nd tonight. going to put her through a thorough test tomarow and just run her like a dog
