Default Carb Problem

My buddy has a bike and the bike runs fine for a little while then starts to bog down while giving it the throttle. And when he drains the oil a lot more comes out then he put into it. Could the gas be getting into the oil some how??? I'm thinking Diafram or something likethat maybe.Haven't seen it asked yet so decide to post.

Did this bike sit for a while? Like over winter storage? I have the same problem...bogs down...can't get up in speed without WOT...and its hurting gas mileage bad. I know i have a rich problem...need to check my plugs sometime soon. As for the oil...is he draining it while hot? As with just about any luquid..it'll expand a bit when heated...and if it's a whole bunch of oil compared to what was put in there...does it smell of something else other than oil? I'm sure you would smell the gas

Huh?

Actually, I don't know what you mean by getting a lot more oil out then he puts in...the bike holds something like 4 qrts of oil or something like that...I would have to check the manual, if it's an F2.

As for bogging down, could be clogged jets. If it's been sitting, try tossing some seafoam gas treatment in the tank. Beyond that, I would have the carbs removed and thoroughly cleaned.

EDIT: If Oil was getting a into the cylinder, than you would see smoke and you would end up with less oil, eventually.

What i am saying is that he drained the oil after this happened and a **** load of oil came out way more then 4 qts. dont know if the gas could leak by somewhere in the carbs and drain into the oil or not.

pull the carbs a clean them with carb cleaner. read the manual has everything you will need to know. also take a look at the petcock on the tank. I think mine has gone out and is causing the same exact issue.
