Hey everybody i need some guidance here. Recently my battery just died and stopped charging itself i guess so then i bought a new battery yesterday and put it in and everything was all good then i went for a cruise today and guess what.... the new one died any sugestions?

 

stator is going out maybe?.... something to do with your charging system...

 

mine was doing the same thing. It was my charging system. The guy at the shop put in a new Hi-output rectafier and it runs awesome now.

 

check your charging system im sure its your rectifier its common on f2's (use the link)

Rectifier, probably nothing wrong with either of your batteries, depending on how old the older one is.

 

Have you checked the voltage at the terminals whiles its running at rev'd to 5000rpm?

 

My money's on your R/R. They have a nasty habit of going out on F2s.
