Not too sure I know what your talking about...F2 & F3 plastic is different, so we may not have that same problem...
Looks good!

If you mean seperate like the two rear sides don't quite clip perfectly into the back flat part, I feel the pain. Mine sits almost there, but you can see a gap. If these will work on the F2, I'm in for the repair pieces.

If I understand correctly what your uncle is trying to do, it seems as though your suppossed to attach one screw to each fairing and then torq down screws when you find specific gap. Nuts fastened to the inside of your fairing seem like the correct hillbilly way to drive your screw into, screwing into plastic would be terrible as would bolting through be a headache.

I got a chance to look at the side last night on mine. I can't keep the sides attached perfectly because the little hole on the side where it attaches to the pin was cracked. I'm wondering if a metal part can't be epoxied into place that would replace that snapped part?

You can manipulate the grommeted metal flange that holds each side tail section bending a little in and out, installing the side piece seeing if the direction you are bending was the right or worng way. And don't bend it more than say 1/32 to 1/16 an inch or you'll eventually fatigue the metal.

I'm talking about the metal flange, attached to the subframe that holds the plastic nipple..the one just above the swingarm.

I had mine almost flawless...

Now have a new race tail. Carbon Fiber...beautiful and causes some people to cry like babies for some reason. [sm=boohoo.gif]
