Default Anyone know a fork rebuild link

Looking to find a fork rebuild how to or video for the f2/damping rod forks. I picked up a set of used fork for 90bucks and I also picked up a seal and boot set. So I want to rebuild these used forks I picked up and have them for spring.

RockyMountainATVMC has videos on youtube, but its for a cartridge style, which I don't have.

So if anyone knows a good link please let me know. I also need to know if any specialty tools are needed and how much for oil to fill with.

I only use amsoil in my race car and bike. I tried to download the service manual, but the link was bad.

This is the video I viewed, is it somewhat similar at all?

Oh and if there is a working f2 service manual link please link it.

I am pricing out the tools VS the cost of labor. I was told 60-80 if I supply the parts and oil from the local shop (forks alone, not on bike). I think I may just get them done.

some parts of that video are similar but those are inverted cartridge style forks. i dont know how to link stuff but google this and you will find your shop manual you will have to download it though(cbr600 f2 shop manual) if you google that then about a 1/4 of the way down the page you will find the adobe icon it says go fast video click on that and download it and you will have a shop manual

Downloading it.. Yeah I cant find a video of how to on these rod style forks. But as I said before Parts ran me 50 bucks, forks were 100, and a rebuild should be 70ish. And then I have a set on the side (I like spares).

I also ordered wheel bearings, and have new tires to put on. So the plan is to get these forks rebuilt, pull the tires off, get the wheels powder coated, install new bearings, and reinstall and enjoy a new set of forks, clean rolling wheels, and new rubber.

I don't know how much it will cost buy they can rebuild them plus set up the proper spring rate for your weight and type of riding you will be doing. On top of that they have a Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators which actuality makes the forks adjustable.
