Default Before i give some1 the wrong information

I just would like to double check. A friend of mine wants to upgrade a wider rear... I have a 5.5 rear but i got the bike like this so i dont know if any modifications were made to the swingarm, wheel or spacers so i suggested him to use a f3 5 inch rear... is it a direct bolt in?? f3 wheel, same cush drive, rotor and spacers.

i know the swingarms arent interchangable but dunno if its different in width. i know the wheel is on the interchangable list but it would be good to tell him im 100% positive

If I'm right, I think the general consensus is that you've got a 900rr wheel on your bike. That's why it's 5.5". If you friend has a F2 or F3 as well, then why not get together with him, pull your rear wheel, axle and spacers and compare them to his. Measure them. Then you'll know for sure and you can report back here to everyones benefit.

I bought a 900rr rear rim to go on my streetfighter/cafe bike I'm building out of my 93 F2.

The cush rubbers, sprocket carrier and everything else bolts right up from a F2/F3 rear rim.. it all swaps right over..

BUT!! on the F2 swingarm, to bring the chain back in line with the sprocket, you'll have to machine/shave down the sprocket hub.. like so..

and then re-center the wheel with some custom spacers and your good to go!..

i see what you did and i like ur write up... i think im gonna try to keep up with it... or u should post it here too so more people have the 900RR rear wheel deal

One thing that i did try to measure of over the weekend is the F2 and the F3 wheel (ive been askin bikers around), between the Hub and the rotor is both 5.5 inches... on the f2 wheel it sticks out, on the f3 wheel, it sits flush with the side of the rim so im trying to rule out having to machine the sprocket hub
