honda4u.com is good and the cheapest place Ive found to buy any OEM parts.

 

+1 to CJ, OEM is as cheap as it gets, no need to shop around for them.

Do I actually need to replace the front springs, do they wear out?
Bike is a 2006 w/ ~48,000 miles on it. I do ride a lot but don't don't stunt it, so just normal riding.

 

Yes, springs wear out. Do you need to replace yours?

Maybe.

Does the bike seem to bottom a lot? Especially under hard braking?
Do you weigh in the 225+ class? These are reasons to consider re-springing.

If you're not one to push the bike to the limits, it's not as critical.

It can be a decent upgrade, but it's not in the top recommendations,
when considering performance vs cost.
