Default Anyone have a Micron header with another brand slip on?

Hey guys so I picked up a micron race header (part#ph40ss)[IMG][/IMG]for a super killer deal when they were going out of business from the North American distributor for like a hundred bucks. Then I picked up a Yoshimura RS3 slip-on because that's the only one anybody still makes for this bike. I was thinking I could Fab the two together fairly easily. However when I unboxed it I found that the header is set up to where there's no mid pipe
Sof I gotta figure out how to make it work. It's a 2.5" outlet on the header but my yoshimura slip in is only 2". I will most likely just cut back the header far enough and use an adapter to fit it to the midpipe. Any opinions?

I'm just going to cut the header back some so I can use the yoshimura midpipe with the can. Just going to weld a ss 2.5" to 2" reducertain onto the header, so I can attach the midpipe
