Default What m/c to use with clip ons?

Hey guys, I got some aftermarket clip ons. As many know the clearance issue with the stock m/c. What kind of m/c are you guys using? Anyone using a 929/954rr m/c? I know some like JNS used a 99 900rr m/c. Just wondering what's the best option to get. Any help is much appreciated.

Find a similar (I.e. the same) m/c bore and go from there. There's not too much play in the hydraulic ratios to start throwing on random m/cs...

The only numbers I see floating around the net are 1/2 or 5/8 so you're talking about a 12mm or 14mm m/c. That's not going to leave you a ton of modern sport bike options. You'll need to verify those numbers though
I didn't research thoroughly.

Ordered a very low mileage (5000mi) 99' 900rr m/c a couple days ago. The stock f2 one is 1/2" or 13mm, the 900 rr one is 5/8 or roughly 16mm, so it should be a nice upgrade, plus it'll clear my clip ons. I also just got the EBC 310mm floating rotors as well so I wanted a m/c upgrade. Found the 900 rr one for very cheap, so it all worked out.
