i have to tip my hat to you sir. awesome job. the ones in the pic look like a better finish than the ape that i just bought.

wish they were done a lil sooner or i would be on that list, but had to get the auto one replaced.

valiant effort, im sure your going to have CBRF customers for awhile now.

Hey everyone, looks like there's one spare CCT, if anyone wants it. $25 shipped to your door. Let me know!

Yup, everyone's CCTs have been mailed. For the international ones, I sent them USPS international priority -- apparently 6-10 days.

I went with a 3" bolt. On my bike I used 2.5" and just barely ran out of travel. If yours is too long, I recommend simply hacksawing the end off and filing the bolt smooth.

As for anodozing... I've never tried it but I've wanted to on a few occasions. One of my earlier projects was a lathe-turned replica star wars "light saber", for which anodizing would have been perfect. But I opted for spray paint. From the sound of it, anodizing wouldn't be all that hard. Use sulferic acid from spent batteries, a car battery charger as current source, and a 5-gallon bucket to hold the chemicals...I just wish I had a stronger impetus and I just might try it.

just wanted to let you guys know, my cct came in. I wanted to give major props to berga, it looks like a solid piece of work. I'll be installing it into my bike some time this week, i'll make sure to take pictures.

Would be cool if you made a How-to in the F2 forum here, with pics. I think people wonder where the CCT actually is located on the engine, the pics in the CCT-howto are gone now for some reason.

Awesome, I'm glad you like it! I was pretty pleased when they came out of the machine. The updates I made to the program really helped. And yeah, if you've got time, make a nice How-To with some good pictures!

And for anyone else -- I've got ONE left that I need to sell -- someone take it off my hands!
