Unfortunately, it isn't my water pump that is bad. It is in my engine block. It is the bottom left bolt on the water pump. The longest one that threads through both sides of the waterpump and into the engine.
I am hoping I only pulled out the last little bit of threads, because my replacement bolt I got was about ~8mm short of reaching the end. I am going to try to use a thread repair tool, and get a longer bolt to take up the entire length of the threaded hole.
Should I apply waterpump sealant on the bolt when I install it?
