94 cbr600F2 cuts power
so ive had problems with this bike falling before because of wind knocking it off the kickstand and the ground giving out. it sunk 2.5 into asphalt and fell. i just have terrible luck. but this last time it fell over i noticed oil dripping out the left side which i think is overflow from it being on its side for a while. anyways i picked it back up and it sat for another few days and stopped leaking. but now when i turn the key on and put it in neutral everything comes on like lights and stuff but when i click the start button the bike looses all power. i had to turn it off and turn it back on then wait like another 15 seconds and then the power came back on. i tried again and it shut all power off again. it made a click like a blown fuse or relay but then it came back on. so i figured it was something else. anyways i can bump start it and it runs just fine but the button start doesnt work. i rode it once since and have been trying to figure out solutions. im not even sure if its fixed after riding it or not but i want to know possible solutions so if it happens again i can fix it. anyone got any ideas?
Sounds like a bad battery or loose connections to the battery.
Check the connections. Have the battery load tested.
Also make sure the bike is charging the battery.
Reg/rec are a known problem.

Bad dead battery. Do following measurements:
1. measure battery power with everything OFF, volts = ???
2. key ON, measure battery power, volts = ???
3. measure battery power when pushing start-button, volts = ???
Confirmation test is jump-start bike from known good auto-battery. One that starts car just fine. Leave car off, we are just borrowing its battery. Wiggle jumper cable clamps on both ends. Redo same measurements above with auto battery connected.
Does bike start?
What conclusions can you come up with by comparing 2 sets of measurements?
