'94 CBR F2 to '06 Yamaha R6 Tail Conversion; Build Thread
Nice I saw the first steps of your work and I must say, looking good at the moment. I also have a F2. Work so far is a f4i front end, forks, rim and brake system. Was also a major hassle to rewire the whole thing but looks good now! Put on a cheap custom headlight unit but will be making up a new one soon. Mounted up some muscle bars too, keepin it real yo!
Next on the list is the tail section, either going with the r6 or a custom miniture cbr1000 predetor copy. Thanks heaps for all the pics, its gonna help alot for the next stage. After that i may attempt installing a late model cbr swing arm but thats a whole other story.
Keep fightin'!

Got rid of that old rear tire ( was showing cords
) While I had the tire off I decided to paint the wheel. It's an enkei wheel, I'm painting the center and spokes Gloss Black, And the lip the same Metallic Silver thats on the bike now.
Got the center and spokes painted Gloss Black, now to tape off the lip and spray the Metallic Silver

I know this is old as hell but I was looking around for some info about swapping subframes and saw the first picture and noticed something is that a KZ750 behind your cbr? Did you buy it from a redhead guy in St. Peter's/St. Charles area like a year and a half ago?
It's actually a 1977 Honda CB550 four-k
EDIT: Sorry, ran through post and saw the question already answered. Looks very nice. Sucks you sold it already. So what do you ride now?
