Default First bike, first build thread

Hey guys, instead of using my intro thread from the new members section, I decided to just make a build thread for my 99 F4.

I picked up a crashed F4 for dirt cheap (can't say ). Basically everything mechanically on the bike is sound, good motor, transmission, frame and subframe all straight, forks good, new tires, new brakes. According to some friends of mine who came to look at the bike with me, there were some good parts on the bike already;

A full Jardine exhaust
Scotts Performance steering damper

Since theres no plastics, I plan on doing a streetfighter look. So far, with the help of a friend, we have completely tucked all the rear wiring, and are in the process of the front once I receive my new headlight, along with new parts I need to replace like the stator cover. I also plan on getting the tank repainted. The PO I guess just sprayed over the tank without sanding it or prepping it. You can still see the original red paint. I've already replaced the grips and frame sliders. I also have a separate tail and and rear frame from another bike with separate seating I plan on welding onto this. That will be a secret though lol. I'll give updates while all the parts come in.

Thanks guys. So far I've received a new oem clutch handle, the acerbis headlight, and the bar end mirrors. Going to install the headlight tomorrow and tuck all the front wiring. I'm looking into doing a digital cluster, but I am not sure where to find an aftermarket solution. I know that the gas light won't work if I use an F4i cluster. Any ideas?
