i have a 93 f2 and when i got it it ran fine nothing wrong with it other that clutch lever and handle bar

now one day i wake up and it doesn't start

it has spark

i took off the tank and sucked on vacuum hose and gas came out


if i spray starting fluid into top of carbs under air filter it runs

cant figure it out maybe some one can help me

 

Well it's got spark, and the motor is fine. Sounds like something is going on in your carbs or fuel lines. Clean the carbs out, then fill the bowls and run it without the gas tank on (setup a beer bong gas delivery system). That eliminates the tank and the fuel lines from the equation, not that there is much to them.

 

yeah has to be dirty carbs. after cleaning mine what I thought was good it still had the same problem. Till I got down inbetween every hole on the jets with a little wire.. Ive learned now. If your gonna take them off. Take your time before you put them back on. cuz theres nothing worse than taking em off more than once
