Hi guys and gals
Just wondering if anyone can help me. My 1993 CBR 600 F2 wont start. I had it ticking over warming the engine and the motor stopped. The fuel is on, battery fully charged etc etc.
I looked at the plugs they seem ok. I then sprayed easystart directly into the carbs whilst turning the engine over and it still didnt fire, which can only mean there is no spark.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

did you check your coils?

 

No I didnt check the coils, looking at them there appears to be 2 colis, each powering 2 cylinders. If a coil failed would the other 2 cylinders not still fire on the remaining good coil?
I did a resistance check on the pulse generator and it appears to be OK.

 

If the motor was running fine then just cut out , it'll be something simple... try swithcing the fuel tap onto reserve.. if not check to see if a fuel line is kinked or trapped.. dont spray easystart in her, the engine can't cope with the raised compression when you do that, it's a motorcycle not a 14 ltr diesel engine,
