will this tire fit the rim ok , on a honda f2. stocks 160 60 17

Yes, that tire will work just fine.
Way back when I raced F2's, the only rear race tire available were 170/60zr17.
Used them for years.
There are more choices available today, but if you can get one of those cheaper.
No reason not to run it.
Trying to run 120/70's on the front is where it can get ugly.
