Rear tire sizes
I've been running a 195 for the last three tires. I am thinking about going back to a 190. Any reason why I should or shouldn't?
A 195 equals more rubber on the ground but it also means more rotating mass. Comparing the same tire, Bridgestone BT16s for example, does one size corner better than the other?

just because the tire is technically bigger does not equal more rubber on the ground per say. If so wouldnt you think the manufacturers would have us all on 200+ by now? Your bike was designed, tested, and perfected using a 190/55/17 on a 6" rim. So squeezing a bigger tire onto a smaller rim distorts the profile of the tire even tho its only 1/2 a cm or inche etc. it all matters when it all gets put to the pavement. The 190/55 should turn in and handle better in the twisty stuff.

I'm sure you mean 17 inch rim.
