What Type of Plastic is it? Best way to repair?
Hey guys i just bought a 1990 cbr600 f1 on sat. I found this forum and i joined up to get some help. The bikes in great condition except the left lower fairing on the left has a cracked part that came off. I searched in the forum where the cheapest to buy one. Hard time finding fairing but dont wanna go through all the process of painting a new fairing. However, im going to try to repair it. Just wanted to know are the original fairings abs plastic? Is welding the plastic the best way? or plastafix or some sort a epoxy resin better?
Here a pic of my bike

Yes I believe they are ABS and plastic welding it is the best way.
Once you do that I would reccomend reinforcing it with fiberglass mesh.
That is how I repaired my fairings on my BlackBird and they are rock solid for the last 5 years.
