Default What "type" of plastic do I have?
The bike is going to be going under the knife for a new paint job next week. Doing everything myself everything from plastic repair to clear.

I need to fix some of the cracked plastics what kind of plastic do I have?

ummm...how should we know? If you have stock plastics they are "plastic" plastics. Otherwise they are prolly fiberglass. It's easy to tell once you get them off. But you can get plastic weld from autozone or similar store to fix the cracks.

Well maybe there is someone in here that has made some repairs, the reasoning on why I want to know is because you can get certain type of plastic weld to get the best repair.

I'm 90% sure its ABS. I just did all my fairings last week... and thats what i thought.
