Detroit: I bolted a couple brackets to the seat and those to the subframe. Here are some pictures.

AR15: No, the rear seat will not be functional. Before I got it, it was a race bike, an had no rear seat or pegs, which is fine with me. To make the rear seat functional, you would have to weld some metal to extend the subframe all the way to the back of the rear seat. Shouldn't be too hard if you know how to weld.

actually i plan to make mine functional. it will come off with the key for storage and to be swappable with a solo seat cowl. i dont know if i am going to reinforce it to hold a person since i ride solo anyways and dont want a passenger, but my bike also has a cross support at the end of the subframe. it also appears to be longer than yours....interesting.

Where did you buy the plastic from? And your tail mod looks good.

Thanks. I got the plastic rom Tacoma Plastic Supply in Tacoma, WA. It was about $15 for a 4'x4' sheet of 1/8" ABS.

Yep, I just took a dremel to the fender cause it was so big. The bike came with the pipe that's on it. It's from a Suzuki, but it runs great so I'm not gonna mess with it. As for pint, I think I might black the whole thing out. That would probably look the best and be the easiest to do.
