Default Swingarm spools

Anybody ever add them to a Hurricane? If so, what did you you do? I have some ideas, but was wondering what worked for others.

i've never done it to a hurricane, but i have done them for older katanas. same idea though. i got .5" diameter steel rod, cut spools mounts to cross-section size of swingarm, drilled and tapped the center, and then welded it to the swingarm a little more than an inch in front of the adjustment slot. that way the swingarm stand doesn't interfere with the axle bolt when all the way forward for chain adjustment. i did the welding with the swingarm off the bike. also, removed any grease, oil, paint, or coatings so that i get to clean bare metal surface before welding. when finished i get some krylon to cover up the bare metal.
