What damper would you suggest also I need to replace some or all of the platics on my bike where are you finding kits? Ive searched and looked on eBay and it seems there's not much for the f1 600. Does the 1000 body plastics fit the 600 by Chance?

1000 plastics are not a direct fitment on the 600.

as for steering damper, there are no kits for the 1st gen 600. you would basically have to have custom mounts made.

you're right, there isn't a lot for the f/f1. so if you are trying to get aftermarket stuff, it will be hard to find or non-existent.
