Thank's, Jim

I've got an Ohlins on mine, and LOVE it! It really does help out alot, and has saved my *** a couple times already. I look at it this way, it really can't hurt anything, and I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it, ya know? I can't say I have any experience with other brands, but from what I've read, any of the name brands like Scotts, GPR, Ohlins, etc you can't go wrong with any of them. I know others have finer tuning ability than mine does... mine has 18 different settings so it's more on the basic side, but still works very very well.

I bought the Scotts/Ohlins rotary unit and love it so far. Makes the ride a lot smoother either when going really fast or over bumpy stuff. I leave it at a fairly stiff setting and I like how it feels. Moves fast when I need it to, and keeps the front wheel tracking where it needs to be when the road is less than smooth.

Definately worth the money.

Thanks! I really don't remember how much I payed for the damper, cuz I bought it used from my roomate. He had the same bike only yellow, and when he sold it he put it back to stock and sold me the damper and slip on and a few other things at a deal I couldn't refuse New though I want to say it was around $350 or so "I think", can't rememebr for sure though. Well worth the $$$ though!!

Oh yea haven't hit 70k yet, at 61,800 now. But it won't be long now... just got a new job that I start tomorrow with an approx 85 mile daily commute, so it'll start counting quick now! I'll be at 100k in no time!

Just make sure your suspension is setup prior to installing a damper. Lots of people use a damper as a band-aid for a improper setup.
