When i bought this bike the seat comes on and off freely. and it kinda slides back about an inch or 2 when i ride. it keeps pushing my tail light cover out of its runners on the fairings. what do i need to assemble/purchase to get the seat to stay in its position securely again?

 

right where the driver spot turns in to the passenger spot look underneath there should be a space for a 12mm bolt on each side that will cure your problem.

 

sweet so i just remove the rear fairings and both the sucker down? then put the fairings back on?

what's ashame is you not posting the way the bike looks now. at least we can all see a before picture to compare with the after picture. your ride can't be any worse then just plain negleted at a trash heap. so show us a pic a be proud!
