They are pretty expensive, so I will not afford installing a set on my wets aswell. So maybe the 296 is a better option on the wets?

BTW I have just foound a set of Brembo calipers from a Ducati 996, complete with steel brakelines and pump. This setup will now be installed on the CBR. Do you have any experience in fabricating brackets for such a caliper swap?

i can verufy the bolt pattern on a cbf 05 ( it has a lot of f2/hornet parts). For the brackets, no i dont. But there are some guys which rocks here doing special parts, im not affiliated with them but they earned all my trust and respect ... ops the dont have a mail ... i can call them for you if you want

Great! I would like that alot. Steel fabrication is also one of my not so strong sides. So anyone could make a bracket for my 996 calipers, that would be much appreciated.

Sorry to hijack but I'm doing a similar thing but with a 1997. Does anyone understand the operation and effect of the Direct Air Injection (DAI) on these bikes?

Hi!
Is it legal to put 1mm or larger Wiseco or similar overbore?
Here in Nordic Formula 80-87 OEM factory oversize pistons are only allowed. That means usually 0.25 one size overbore. I don`t think that there are any larger oem oversizes for CBR600.
For VFR there aren`t any. But that`s ok because the limit in formula 1 is 1100cc. But in F2 it`s 600cc.
You may hit some problems if you start winning races :-)
