There are not a whole lot of upgrades you can do without rebuilding this bike substantially. There are also exhaust available for this bike, Yoshimura, V&H, D&D, Viper, Kerker, and I think Micron has one. As for fairings, you are going to have to get creative and make something fit. I have a 600rr tail on mine. Another guy here has all the 600rr fairings, and I have seen various other combinations of F3-F4i plastics. You just kind of have to get the pieces and make mounts as you go.

The F1 is pretty fast already, I don't know what all you plan to do to yours, but I don't think it can really keep up to a newer bike if the rider is capable enough. Take it to the turns and I have kept up with GSX750 and 1Ks, ZX10s, and stayed in front of other 600s.

sprocket changes and suspension work is all you really need. i might need to rebuild the motor and will probably next year but idk. take a msa course and you will be a lot better and alot faster.
