Default Performance help

here are my specs. '03 F4i with scorpion slip on, PCIII, +2 in the rear. Now in my opinion this bike should be coming up in the front like no ones business. Unfortunately, i can't get the front wheel to come up to save my life. about the only time it comes up is at redline in 1st gear and only a couple inches. what could be the problem?

Not to be a smartass, but its got to be rider error. My only mods are PCIII and -1 in the front, and I can definitely get it up and carry. This is the first bike I've owned that would wheelie, and I've only had it 2 months.

I'm guessing you're just rolling up and not clutching?

Mine will pull the front wheel up in first and float it in second. All I have is an erion slip on. I only weigh 160 though.

give it some gas up to 7k rpm, left off the gas briefly, then give it all she's got. she'll come up.

don't kill yourself.

its definetly how your going about it. you either need to clutch it up, or use the method FLYOU recommend....be careful.

also check out the stunters corner for more details/opinions.

Sounds like heneeds a rider mod. If he cant figure out that he has to clutch the bike to make it come up, he might as well sell it. What did he think he put those baby mods on his bike and turned it into a cbr1000?
