Default Little update . still no go

Hi guys ive beeen havin a bad time trying to start my cbr this season. It will crank but it wont try to start. It also backk fires when cranking. I replaced the spark plugs and cleaned the carbs. I had a motorcycle tech check over my carb . looks good.

Then i checked all the plugs for fire. they all lite up. so now im starting to think timing? do they ever jump timing? I really dont understand it . It was working fine when i put it away in november.

this is probably a longshot, but were the spark plug wires put back in the correct cylinder?

Is the gas petcock in the 'On' position, and is the engine kill switch on? I know these are very simple things but easy to forget after winter.

is it a strong spark or weak spark?
are you flooding your engine?
were the plugs wet when you pulled them out?
is the gas still good?
any water or condensation in the tank?
is your battery good?

Well the shop I work at got her going today. For a min anyway. Then it caught fire.[>:]the tec didnt properly conect the gas line and the bike backfired though the carb and it lit up. lucky no one was hurt and the bike barely shows any damage. I will have to get a new fuel shut off for the tank. Oh well at least I know it will run lol. shes flooding
