How's the fuel filter? Any rust in the tank?

Before I bought my bike it was sitting for like 5 years or something, had rust in the tank.

Remember there are 2 fuel filters, on in the tank which goes in before the petcock tube and one before the fuel pump. If there is rust in the tank, I would suggest using the tank sealer kit from por15. It takes about a week to do the whole process with the curing time and all, but it's worth it.

Plus I put in new spark plugs. They aren't that hard to change really. I am 6"2 and have big hands, and I was able to get in there and change them out, just remove the service covers, I used a long thin flat head screwdriver to pop the wires loose; just tank your time not to damage the wires(been on there for 17 years, cant get enough leverage by hand to remove them), just need a spark plug socket, short extension and having a 3/8" swivel adapter helps because then you can actually loosen the spark plug more than 1/8" of a turn at a time over trying to stuff the whole wratchet in there.

45 minutes.
