Are the front ones regular or LED? And are the bulbs you installed on the rear the correct wattage rating for whatever was on there originally?

You said that all 4 are blinking too fast. The electronics on the bike think that at least one bulb is burned out on each side because the total wattage is too low for some reason. Either some of the bulbs are out of spec (wrong wattage) or some of them are LED. LED bulbs are very low resistance and in that case you'd either have to install resistors or replace the stock flasher relay with an LED compatible version for around $9.

Super Bright LEDs. Scroll down to the motorcycle applications section. The LF1-S-FLAT version fits the OEM plug on my 1000RR perfectly.

Do the signals you installed have 2 wires or 3 wires comming off of them?

don't bother getting a relay, install one of these and it should do the trick. you can keep your stock relay.

Resistors get hot, LED relays don't. LED relays also do not need any additional wiring. Just plug and play.

With just normal amount of turn signal use, you shouldn't have a problem with your resistor getting hot.
