RE: ignt fuse keeps popping
Get a DMM (digital multi meter), It will save your butt.
Put it on the continuity setting.
Attach the black lead to ground.
Starting at the switch, check to see if any wires are grounded(the meter will beep).
Going downstream from there, unplug each harness one at a time until you find what section the grounded out wires is.
However it is probably the starter.
You can test the starter by:
1. bump start it(push it) if it will start and stay running it is probably the starter
2. pull the starteror disconnect the power to it. Hook up(through a fuse) power and ground directly to it and see if it will crank. If it will not crank, or blows the fuse instantly, get a new starter, if it will, definately need to check the wiring.
I saw the electrical printouts for the bike somewhere here on the forum, good luck man and use common sense(don't put power directly to ground and try to weld/start a fire with your wiring, never bypass a fuse with a coin or aluminum foil, blah blah blah. I.E. If you screw it up its your own fault)
