Getting pretty excited about upcoming repairs

Stator has now been replaced and the regulator is partially installed. Running some wires to locate it somewhere else. Simply ran out of daylight. It kills me not having a garage anymore. Anyway, I should have the r/r finished up tomorrow morning and then it's time for a long ride to recharge the battery. Really considering wiring in a voltage meter just so I'll always be on top of this if an issue comes back up.

Done, done, and done. Stator and cover replaced, r/r installed, new battery, miles are racking up on the odometer for the first time since I've owned the bike, voltage guage installed (but I haven't seen it hit higher than 13 yet), battery box replaced and bolted in, also the cooling fan kicked on for the first time since I've owned the bike too... that thing is loud and annoying, when it first kicked in I thought something broke and I started slowing down in a hurry thinking the engine was about to throw up between my legs.
Today I got bored and went after the front fender with a pair of tin snips. I have never really liked the look of it, so I stream-lined it a little bit. It now just runs along the tire contour, such that you can see the entire rim.
I got the side-panels in the mail today in preparation for the 03 cbr600rr tail swap project. Luckily I get home before the wife, so for now she has no idea what is coming up.
