Been trying to get these cam shafts in for a day now can’t seem to get them sitting one housing the chain doesn’t have anymore slack for it to get seated , going threw the manual but doesn’t say how to do it ? Any one?

Speaking from a position of ignorance but shouldn't you be tightening down the bearing caps before trying to connect up the chain?

Yh im reading the manual and it doesn’t say when to put the chain on I can’t get it on maybe I do that then let me try

Is that chain supposed to be sitting on that rail? Shorly when that’s spinning it will just grind it down?

hH did a whole video series on the total rebuild of an engine. The videos are really well done and informative. You should check them out.

Ahh!!! You absolute gentleman great, could have done with finding this a few week ago 😂, ok great so the sprockets need to come off perfect, I didn’t want to force it I knew I was doing something wrong ! Thanks
