Default fuel pump

Ouch !

Fuel pump died so I ordered a new pump.
Honda number 1-16710-MN4-005 HO PHO Pump Assy.

$120.00 plus tax.

The good side is that it pluged right into the wire harness.
Input and outflow was maked on the pump.
I removed the rubber pump holder from the dead pump and installed it on the new pump.
And installed a new fuel filter, she fired right up and purred like a kitten.

Update FYI
I did a google search and came up with this on the F1 fuel pump.
http://partsfinder.ridenow.com/fiche...=16710-MN4-005
$15.00 dollars less than I paid but I guess you have to figure in S+H plus tax.

I hope this helps if your looking for a fuel pump.

Interesting note, the old pump and the new pump both had a mitsubishi mark on the electrical end of the pump.

I just wonder if this item is available through a mitsubishi dealer at a reduced cost? Hmmm.

Default RE: fuel pump

Mitsubishi is the maker of majority of fuel pumps on bikes. Any fuel pump rated for 600cc and same diameter flow tubes would have worked. I have an F3 pump on my bike and it works great, I think I paid $50 for used off Ebay.
