Yeah it needed some TLC when I picked it up but after a few days of work it's looking pretty good. Some of the fairing pieces weren't lined up properly and there was stuff overlapping that shouldn't, so I pulled everything off, cleaned it up, and did it the right way. There were a bunch of mismatched screws holding everything together and even some were missing (the lower right fairing didn't have either of the two screws in the bottom and the front was missing too so it was flopping around the whole drive back) so I picked up a whole set of allen screws for it.

Default Wife wanted a cafe....

Well, the wife wanted a cafe bike so in about a month or so, this is what I came up with. It will get a full tear-down over the winter to pretty it up, probably paint the engine/covers to go along with it, fix the slight crack on the left side of the frame (I read the sticky about cracks in the frame and mine has it )

So here she is in all her "cafe" glory haha.

I welded up the rear and made a seat, tank is stock, and headlight is from a victory vegas 8ball the guy said when I got it on CL. Hope you like it.

Lastly the picture with the shotgun tail lights I just finished up, and the license plate holder/mudgaurd.

Figure I'll throw my hat in the ring. Finally got around to replacing the bent levers. Easiest switch ever. 5 minutes tops, just need a big flathead and an 8mm wrench. Looks much better now.

Over 70000km and still going strong

You can see here I don't have the helmet lock. The 2 bolt holes are a perfect fit for a master lock to lock the helmet, and to hook my disc lock into when I'm riding.

You can see my "rainy day" ride in the background.

Here you see the disclock setup. I have a Deemeed Grenade lock (AGM - Motorcycle bags & Accessories). I used a spring loaded retractable 3.5mm stereo extension and a wrist band to avoid that "Oh ****" moment where you fk up your bike after forgetting to remove the lock.

All comments - good and bad - are welcome!

Can't wait until winter. Strip it down make it new(ish) Any tips on removing the frame tabs and tucking the front fenders and dash into the bike to make it clean looking?
