Will 87 1000f fairings fit an 88 600f hurricane?
I know that 1990 year bikes get bigger when it comes to size.
But how interchangeable are parts from 1000f's to 600f's?
And from years 87 to 89?

I don't think so. Of course, you could always try and make them fit, but they may be too big.

Thanks. I'm still wondering about the compatability of fairings between 600f's from 87 through 89.

They all fit. 87-90 are the same. If you are interested in conversions, even later model 600s fit, with custom stays that is.

Zip tie the plastics up, take measurements, or line up intended stays, and fab away. How you actually go about making them is up to you. I went to HD and got those steel strips that are like 1-1/4"x1/4" and cut them to desired lengths using a dremel. Then I put them in a vise and bent them with a hammer, drilled holes and screwed together. When my dad brings over his MIG welder I am going to secure them that way, but the screws have held up great over the last year. I couldn't think of any other way to make them, if I had a welder in the beginning I would of just cut them all to length and welded them together.
