my clutch has a rattle when it is warm but goes of when the clutch lever is pulled in can anybody help

 

How is your clutch cable tension? Where is the rattle coming from? The clutch cage or somewhere else? Do you only hear the rattle while stopped or if you pull the clutch in while driving?

 

i have adjusted the tention but it is still the same it seems to be coming from inside the clutch housing

 

Is it affecting the drivability? Like won't let you shift? Also is it real loud or just a very faint rattle? Do you only hear the rattle while stopped or if you pull the clutch in while driving?
If its loud while sitting there and won't shift or interferes with shifting, it's probably the clutch. Watch E-bay, I got a race clutch off there for $30.
Also have you checked your oil level? The motor oil is shared by the tranny and clutch.
