Cbr kart tacho wiring
Hi there Im wiring up a monster tacho on this engine..
Where would you hook into for the signal?
Ive traced back from the coils and it goes into a cdi. Im thinking maybe i can go from a alternator wire or somehow from the pulse generator i can get it to work?
CDI wires...
Lightgreen/Red-tells computer when in neutral via -12v
Yellow/Blue-one ignition coil ground (controlled by computer to fire plugs at right time via -12volts)(plugs #1 and #4 left to right when sitting on bike)
Blue/Yellow-(controlled by computer to fire plugs at right time via -12volts)(plugs #2 and #3 left to right when sitting on bike)
Black/White- +12volts to both ignition coils(always on)
Green- always grounded -12v
Green/White -tells computer when clutch is in use via -12
